Congratulations! You've purchased one of our signature candles! Now what?!
All candle waxes are not created equal. Our 100% soy wax candles are not only cleaner and safer for your home and the environment, but they also require a different level of care than your traditional paraffin/blended wax candles.

Here's how to properly care for your soy wax candle:

BURN TIME: To prevent tunneling and to create a candle memory, the first time you light your candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass which should occur around 2-3 hours of burning. Never burn for more than four (4) hours at a time.

AVOID DRAFTS: Candles burn best in still air. If you can't avoid drafts, turn the candle periodically to avoid uneven burning and possible candle collapse. A candle in a draft may also start to smoke.

CANDLE STORAGE: Candles are sensitive to temperatures and light. Please avoid extremely warm temperatures where your candle will reside. Store your candle in an upright position.

WICK TRIMMING: Respect your candle! Trim your candle wick each and every time before lighting. It is important to trim the black ball or black ends after use. Trimming ensures your candle does not burn hotter than it should, and it will also prolong the life of the candle. Be sure not to cut it too short, or your candle may not relight.

WARNING:

  • Always burn a candle within sight.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Never move a burning candle.
  • Never leave a candle unattended, and keep away from flammable items.
  • Keep wick centered and trimmed at all times.
  • Do not let debris fall into the wax.
  • Discontinue use when there is less than one inch of wax in container.
